Tournament Pattern

Winning Pattern: Senkos tight to shoreline structure.

Secondary Patterns: Jig & pig and tubes to shoreline cover. Scum frogs over emergent vegetation.

Weather Conditions: Prior week weather was hot and humid.

Wind: calm

Sky: partly cloudy after the thunderstorms passed

Air temperature started around 70 and a thunderstorm hit the area around mid day.

Water Conditions: Water Clarity: 1-1.5'

Water Temp: 81 (main lake) and 73 (river)

Prefishing Patterns: Jigs and plastics on wood, river, scum frogs, Rogues, crankbaits

Miscellaneous Notes: Unsuccessful patterns were docks, non-shoreline cover, Rat L Traps, spinnerbaits, jig worms, and

Carolina rigs. Also, scum frogs were not as good as expected.

Persistance was the key. The cooler water in the river seemed to make a difference and the fish seemed

to replenish themselves. Also, fish were more active during the thunderstorms and rain.

Moon Phase: Full

Peak Activity: 6-9 am
